As someone who has worked with seniors in both the adult family home and nursing home settings, I realize that the decision to move from one’s home or to place a loved one in someone else’s care is difficult to say the least. My mission at Nurse Lavinia's Care Home is to endeavor to earn your trust and provide the kind of compassionate and attentive care that I would expect for my own family members.

There is often so much loss that an individual experiences when in old age: loss of many physical and cognitive functions, loss of friends and family. That’s why at Nurse Lavinia's we believe it is important to nurture independence of those functions remaining in a person’s control and honor his or her preferences in life.
